ABOUT EASTERN FRONTIER
In 2000, the Eastern Frontier Educational Foundation was founded as a nonprofit and developed the Norton Island Residency for Writers & Artists to create an ideal place for writers to write, artists to paint and sculpt, and musicians to compose. In 22 years, more than 500 artists, musicians and writers have used the Norton Island venue for their work.
The Eastern Frontier Educational Foundation is the IRC section 501(c)(3) exempt private operating foundation that funds and maintains Eastern Frontier Educational Foundation Residency Programs. The Eastern Frontier Educational Foundation is organized and operates within the state of Maine and has received no direct or indirect government funding.
